Steve T. Mahan was born in Ithaca, New York, and grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from a small central Pennsylvania college with a bachelor of arts in Economics and earned his juris doctorate from Widener University School of Law, graduating cum laude. He resides in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, with his son, Trace.
